First Impression (xx/10)

Our thoughts about the first impression of your site would go here…. Usually, we will include a blurb about your title/splash page, along with the first actual page of your website. Loading times will be included in this section, along with some personal opinions of the reviewer at first glance.

The Layout–Design (xx/20)

We will start by first saying the theme of your layout at the time of the review. We will then talk specifically about the graphic design aspects of your layout. This may include, but is not limited to, color scheme, easiness/hard to read, picture choice, blending, brushes, CSS and the associated items.

The Layout–Coding (xx/10)

Next we will do a view source and look at the bones of your website. We will basically be looking for any major coding issues that result in something not working correctly in your site. We will also see if you hotlink or anything like that. As stated in the terms of your review process, we pledge not to copy your code, as long as you trust us to look at it, and possibly quote a few lines during this review.

Content (xx/40)

  • 10 possible points are for the quality of your graphics, media, or whatever your site mainly specializes in, as explained in your review application.
  • 5 possible points are for how recently you have updated.
  • 5 possible points are for how much content you have on your site. Remember, quality is better than quantity, and this is why the point threshold is relatively small.
  • 5 possible points will be given for quality of your grammar and the like. tHiNgS LIKE t HI s are very annoying, and will get you a low subscore.
  • 10 points are given for your creativity and uniqueness.
  • 5 last points are on a sink-or-swim basis. This means that you will get 5 points, or 0 points. It’s really easy to earn these, simply add one of our link buttons or link back to us in some way.

    Your Special Content (xx/5)

    In this section, you will tell the staff what you think is the best on your site. We will then try to compare this to other’s, and give you a score based on research. We will also give you general tips and congratulations, when warranted.

    An Overall Wrap-Up (xx/15)

    This category is vague, and we know it. We will discuss anything that we think needs to be changed, along with the great things of your site. Most people will score highly in this section. The reviewers personal opinions will also be summarized in this section.

    FINAL SCORE: xx/100…. LETTER GRADE

    Letter Grades are A (100-90), B (89-80), C (79-70), D (69-60) and F (59-0).. +’s are added to the high range of each letter, and -’s are added to the low range of each letter.
