First Impression (9/10)

The first thing I said when I saw your layout was "Ooooohhhh". I really, really, really, really like the whole halloween theme you had going on there. It was pretty super cool. The design was amazing. Saying that, I still have no idea what "Ishiwong" really is or means. Your CSS at first glance is pretty darn cool too though. All in all, great first impression!


The Layout–Design (18/20)

As I said before, your design is pretty amazing. I love how the top is that neat horizontal repeat. In your case, it is seamless- major points there. It looks like you worked on your design for a while, or at least it looks that way. I greatly appreciate and honor that. Your imaging CSS (for headers, etc) is pretty amazing. I love how you did it. Ingenious. Color-wise, sometimes it is hard to read. I know that it is all Halloween themed, but maybe at least the main text color could be a bit brighter. The red text for the disclaimer at the very bottom is something that I could not read at all. I would fix that as soon as you can. It hurt my eyes- really.^. Overall, great job!


The Layout–Coding (10/10)

Wow. I checked your source-coding to be sure, but yes, you have an extremly clean design coding as I suspected. You accomplished the tables looking using div layers. Bravo. That is awesome. On a technical basis, I cannot say anything that really needs improvement.


Content (35/40)

Here is your score broken-down by each component.

  1. Quality (8/10): Your graphics were fairly nice. Some of your wallpapers I really liked. Other things, they were okay, but they didn't strike me as overly awesome. Still, you are on the higher end of decent. You get most of your points because you took the time to do much of this by yourself I assume. Great job!
  2. Updating (5/5) It looks like you update on a fairly normal basis. Good for you! Problemo though: Your cutenews pagination, like "past" and "foward" confused me. I think they need to be switched around in their respective spots.
  3. Quantity (3/5): You are a little lacking in the quantity department, but I understand that your site is fairly new. I do like what you have so far, but I think you need to add more to some of the pages that only have one thing, or perhaps take them off the main page until you have time to design more of that type.
  4. Site Grammar (5/5): No major problems!
  5. Creativity (9/10): I really like how you tried to do a lot of your own work, at least I thnk it is yours. You branched out from the norm- I cannot say I have ever seen greeting cards on a normal graphic design site- expand on that idea!! Keep going for originality and you will become well-known!

An Overall Wrap-Up (13/15)

Your site is special- and you should be proud. In some areas, you have succeeded in being unique. I would expand on this trait exponentially, and your visitor count will grow. Once you do add more content, I would say for you to consider looking into MYSQL pagination or something like that. Cutenews is okay for updates, but gets tricky for large amounts of content. In all, I really like your site and I wish you the best of luck!
