Domain Names

Domains are what you type into the URL bar of your browser. They are what come before the .com, .net, .org and etc. There are no set rules on what type of common extension one should choose, but .com and .net are the most common for professional websites. Country-coded domain extensions may have specialized registration requirements, which will be discussed during initial client contact. [.us regulations] Due to the large amount of people that have already bought domains, it may be difficult to purchase a common-named domain. During registration, our system will use a script program called WhoIs to verify that your desired domain name is available.

Fees

Billing for the Je-De network is provided by PayPal. In a nutshell, it's the most secure place to pay online through a bank account or a credit card. Je-De is a verified, premium seller, with insurance of $2000 unless noted otherwise. For domains only, the price is billed in yearly increments. Most domain extensions can be registered and paid for multiple years in advance. For a full-list of all domain prices, refer to the chart on your right, or visit the client database.

Add-Ons

ID Protection

You may choose to have private registration for your domain. This will protect all your contact information from a WhoIs lookup. Without ID Protect, spammers can obtain your email and contact information and then use it for spamming purposes and redistribution to marketing firms. Your email address can stay on file with various spammers and marketing firms for years. When you choose our ID protection for $8.99/year, we will use our own information for the public WHOIS lookup, but you will retain ownership. This add-on is available for purchase on the domain registration page during checkout.
